Jorge Liderman: Barcelonazo
BRIDGE 9241

$ 14.99

2008 Latin Grammy nominee: Best Composition

Born in Buenos Aires, the late Jorge Liderman was a member of the composition faculty at the University of California, Berkeley. Liderman's music is a powerful blend of hyper-intense rhythmic energy and brilliant orchestration. This disc features the composer's 30- minute Barcelonazo, an ebullient score which seeks to mirror the excitement and intensity of Barcelona as seen on a recent visit. These other Jorge Liderman's discs are also available on Bridge: Song of Songs (BRIDGE 9172); Waking Dances (9150).

Reviews:

Liderman’s music grows more compelling over the long haul. The sound is especially clear and crisp, capturing with pristine clarity the quirky instrumental combinations that result in Liderman’s unique orchestral colors.” - Stereophile
