Curtis Guitar Quartet

The Curtis Guitar Quartet consists of the four resident student guitarists at the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia.  Each year, Curtis guitar instructors David Starobin and Jason Vieaux work with the quartet to present the premiere of a new work, composed specifically for the quartet.  In the previous three years, new works by Paul Lansky, Eric Sessler and Poul Ruders have been written for, performed and recorded by the quartet.
