The five works continue Paul Lansky's ongoing journey away from electronic music to a purely acoustic art. The program is wide-ranging, and includes solo, chamber and orchestral music. Lansky delights in instrumental virtuosity and offers a stylistic freedom that takes note of popular culture in the context of more classically derived forms, all super-charged with intense rhythmic energy.
